We are glad to introduce ourselves as an Educational Institution, Swamy Vivekananda Vidya Samsthe (R) established in 1995 by Sri B. S Yadyurappa – the Founder and the Chairman of our Institution with the purpose of providing value based education in the society. The trust has 10 institutions among them the Kumadvathi First Grade College was started in 2013 with the vision of creating innovative and managing skills in the minds of students. It is located in Shiva Sharanara Nadu Shikaripura, Shivamogga dist. The college is affiliated to Kuvempu Univeristy and approved by Government of Karnataka. Kumadvathi First Grade College is established with a commitment of Science and Management Education.

The College provides course leading to B. Sc and B.Com degree. The college has Caring, dedicated, and expert faculty and staff members. Very well furnished and equipped Physics, Biology and Chemistry laboratories are provided for the experiments and practical sessions. The in-door auditorium / conference hall is designed to flexibly accommodate small and large groups for seminars, workshops, meetings and exhibitions. The computer lab is equipped with adequate desk-top terminals supported by broad-band internet connectivity to serve the training needs of the students.
