International Women’s Day was celebrated on 25th March 2026 at Kumadvathi First Grade College, Shikaripur, and Kumadvathi College of Education with great enthusiasm and participation.

International Women’s Day is a global occasion that recognizes the achievements, contributions, and strength of women in all spheres of life. It also serves as a reminder to promote gender equality, women’s rights, and empowerment in society.

On this special occasion, we were honored to have Smt. Kavitha Sudhindra as the chief guest. She is currently working as a Professor at Kateel Ashok Pai College. In her inspiring address, she spoke about the importance of women’s rights, justice, and the need for collective action to ensure equality. She encouraged students to be aware, confident, and proactive in building a fair and inclusive society.

The program included speeches, student activities, and discussions that highlighted the significance of women’s empowerment. The event was well received by students and staff, making it a meaningful celebration.
