General Nursing and Midwifery Course

1. A candidate seeking admission to First Year GNM course.

Shall have passed 12 th (10+2) preferably Sciences Subject in recognized by Department Pre University Education.

2. Aggregate of 45%

3. Age: The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 to 35 years respectively .

4. Candidate shall medically fit.

B.Sc Nursing

1. A candidate seeking admission to I year Basic B.Sc (N) course.

Shall have passed two years pre university examination conducted by Department Pre University Education, in any state with the subject of English, physics, chemistry and Biology as an optional subject with 45% of marks.(PCBE 45%)

•  In case of candidates from the stream of Vocational Higher Secondary Course conducted by the Board Of Vocational Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, the candidate shall have taken a minimum of 5 subjects including physics, chemistry, Biology and English in addition to the vocational subject and shall have obtain a minimum of not less than 45% marks in physics, chemistry, Biology and English taken together in the qualifying examination.

•  Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before 31 st day December of the year of admission.

4. Candidate shall medically fit.

PC B.Sc Nursing

•  Hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

•  Be a Registered nurse.

•  Have passed pre-university examination in the Arts, Science / Commerce conducted by department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

•  Have working knowledge of English.

•  Be medically fit.

•  Have a good personal and professional record.

•  Age : No candidate who is above 48 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission shall be eligible .
